Out of the {Wedding} Box Thinking...

Love, Love, Love what amazing wedding photographers 5ive15ifteen out of Toronto offer - not just the standard "engagement/rehearsal dinner/wedding/day after" coverage options but something truly out of the {wedding} box: a dress fitting session!

The importance and significance of finding 'the dress' is near the very top of most girls wedding planning dreams...what a fabulous way to document these precious moments forever.

I encourage bridal retailers, wedding planners and photographers alike to partner on creating unique {and affordable} value-added 'dress fitting' photo documentation.  If you do - share some of the results - I would love to blog them!

Kudos to the team at 5ive15ifteen for conceiving of this idea and merchandising it in such a great fashion!

I have a client who has a videographer following her to all major events to put together a documentary of what it takes to plan a wedding. He has gone to her hair and makeup trial, the tux fitting, the dress alteration appointment, dj meeting, the bridal shower and so on. The bits we have seen so far are great and it really shows the emotion and work that goes into planning the wedding.

I wonder if the Bridal shops have issues with this at all. Some get a little wierd about taking pictures of their dress. Have they encountered that at all?

I recently heard of another photographer doing this in New York - I'll try to remember who. Unfortunately with blogs, everything tends to run together in my head. :)

That is an awesome idea. I passed it along to my fav photog in the area. It could be like their very own "Say Yes to the Dress" episode. Btw, I saw your friend, the designer, on the latest show. He's great!
