"The happiest day of peoples’ lives has often been a source of worry, but stress levels are soaring due to ‘competitive weddings’. Competitive weddings syndrome is a term coined by TK Weddings, a UK wedding planning company, following their research of 1,000 brides.
The survey showed that more than half of all brides want their event to be the best that their guests have ever attended. To achieve this wedding spending in the UK is now almost $120 a minute with average wedding costs running at $40,000!!
