Yesterday was "World Environment Day" and portovert.com has launched a campaign to encourage couples to 'wed with the world in mind.':

To drive this new craze from trend to lifestyle, Portovert kicks off the haute campaign (pronounced “hot”) with the first televised green wedding this June. The Haute Wedding Event: This boutique-style wedding event will take place March 9 and March 10, 2008 at the Bently Reserve in San Francisco.
